I am gonna talk about elk hunting. Something that i have always wanted to do. I think that it would be a really cool thing to go out and hunt one of these big beasts. I think it would be nice to have a 40 pound elk rack hanging on the wall. I would love to go out and hunt elk in the rut just to see what they are like all pumped up and ready to go. Just go out and call one of them in with in bow rang witch would be any where from 25 to 40 yards. I also think it would be nice to try the meat and see what it tastes like. I also think it would be neat to go out and hike the mountains and see some of the rubs that they make and how they run the woods. Some other things i think would be cool to try is stocking an elk to see if it would lead to a bigger and better elk or even to lead me to the pack to see where they bed down so i could get there early in the morning and hope to get a good shot of a nice big bull elk. I would also like to sit in a tree stand and try to call one in. I think it would be really cool also to go out into an open feild and see if u could get one to come close enuff to kill with a bow. I just think all togeather it would be really cool to go on a elk hunt with some body and then get the chance to kill a monster bull elk.

I am gonna write some stuff about hunting.. I beleave the best way to hunt in is the ground. I am going to give some tips about turkey hunting. Some of the best ways I have found to turkey hunt is with someone. It makes it a lot easier to call in the bird. The reason it makes it easier to call in the bird is because there is a lot less movement while doing it. Also you don’t have to sit your call down and pick your gun up. The less movement there is the better off you are. You have a better change of the bird not seeing you when you are with someone because you should already have your gun up and ready to shoot. Some other tips are try to get into the woods be for the bird comes out of roost so that way you are not pushing them away while walking into the wood. Some other things would be try to find a spot where you can see all around yourself without getting up and down. Try to make sure you have a clear path to shoot from also, don’t wait till the last second to try and find a good shoot rang. Also make sure you have the bird picked out you want. Also try to use some different kinds of calling try not to do the some call over and over again. Try to do some of the different kinds of noises that the bird make so the bird thinks  you are a real bird, after u get the bird coming to you get it into shooting range and pull the trigger, after pulling the trigger go get you bird, then call and tag it in, then do whatever it is u would like to do with your bird.

Some things you could know about are that it’s always nice to be on the look. Know what you are looking at. Never point your gun at anything unless u know what it is you are about to shoot. Always make sure that your gun is on safety. When walking with your gun have it pointing in the air or at the ground so if it does go off you won’t be shooting anyone or anything. Also don’t be moving around a lot, sit still and try not to make any noise. It always help if your sit still and r quit then the animal will walk up into close range for a better shot.
